This week we’re talking about traveling in style! A.K.A airport fashion! If you’re like me, you feel extremely important when going to the airport. Out of my way peasants! I have a flight to catch! Regardless of whether I’m flying to New York or Wisconsin, this still applies. You have to be sure to talk on your phone the whole time, so you look super important and “busy”.
This post we will be considering 2 separate outfits that you can strut your stuff in without holding up the line at the security checkpoint and while being reasonably comfortable. Style is pain guys, but it’s oh so worth it, right!? Even if you’re flying coach, here’s how to dress first class!
This first look is a polished look that is still casual. A great fitting, black blazer is one of my favorite staples that is great for all seasons. Rolling the sleeves up gives it that effortless vibe that we are going for. I also loosely rolled these jeans up to give them some more character and to show off my favorite boots this season. Be sure if you are wearing jewelry that none of it is metal or you will most definitely regret it!
Jeans (American Eagle) - Shirt (H&M)
Boots (Rock and Republic) - Shades (whole sale)
Jewelry (Asos and wholesale) - Blazer (H&M)
Let's be honest though, like everyone else, I have those days where I just want to where my onsie to the airport. In this case I did just that! Choosing to incorporate something fun like this into your look is a great way to bring personality to a super casual look. Styling loungewear can be a slippery slope, but if you get a great fit and have a laid back attitude to match, then you can't go wrong!
The key to get a look similar to this is loungewear that fits nicely around your ankle. Slouchy can be extremely stylish if you are tailored in just the right places. Now camo might not be your style, but I have to be sure to keep a little bit of home with me wherever I go. Camo just screams Rochelle (my hometown), to me. The southern accent is not included with purchase.
