Target Christmas Sweater & Santa Hat, Rock and Republic Boots, ( Let's be honest, these are my mom's jeans)
You can not imagine how excited I am to post this photo narrative! I absolutely love this time of year and I am in full Christmas mode! It usually only hits me right after Thanksgiving, but this year I've been "falalala-ing" since early November. When I was planning for my blog in December, I just knew I had to do something that was "Grinch-esque". Christmas is not complete if I have not seen 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' at least 6 times. I spend the entire time stuffing my face with cookie dough and hot chocolate all while quoting the entire film. I can not wait!
Uh Oh! Somebody's fabulous!
My amazing best friend, Lacey Gaines, did the makeup for this Grinch look. Didn't she do an amazing job?! We spent a solid hour transforming me into one of Christmas's most famous villains. Let me tell you, as the makeup went on, I got more and more into character. HELP ME I'M FEELING!!!!!! Funny story, I couldn't find any red pants for this look, so I wound up wearing my mom's jeans. This takes "mom jeans" to a whole new level! I find it hilarious that we are pretty much the same size is pants. I get my style sense from her, so it's makes sense that her pants would fit me. "Motherhood of the traveling pants!" And she did such a great job with the photos! We had such a blast shooting and making dub-smashes to the classic scenes from the film. Thanks so much again to the both of them for helping me pull this off! I just absolutely love being surrounded by my family and celebrating our savior, Jesus Christ. I wish you and your families the very best of the Christmas season!
Happy Holidays you guys!
